Like its namesake, the mythical Phoenix bird that lived for 500 years, then dove into the hot coals of a fire to be reborn for another 500 years, the K.F. Phoenix Glasphalt yarn is created in the extreme  heat of a 3,000 degree furnace.

The yarn on the outside is twisted and plied 5.5 turns per inch - twice that of any other glass fiber yarn used for roofing mops.

This new Glasphalt yarn will emerge day after day from the hot asphalt to give longer life to its user.

The K.F. Phoenix style of mops is designed to improve wear, especially for some SBS mopped-on systems that may be very abrasive to glass fiber mops.

Constructed of high twist & plied Glasphalt yarn on the outside, these mops will last longer than any other glass fiber mop.

The K.F. Phoenix style of mops is designed for roofers who desire long lasting mops. It is not a replacement or substitute for K.F. Applicators designed for high pick-up and performance.
